Georgia Department of Education Teacher Quality Initiative (January 2004)
I recruited schools, planned the proposal and wrote portions of a Teacher Quality grant to fund the Technology Intergration in Mathematics project for the 2004-2005 school year. The program prepared teachers to integrate technology into the mathematics curriculum in Grades 3-5.
Grant awarded: $28,000.

United States Department of Education: Cognition and Student Learning Initiative (March 2003)
Conducted literature review and assisted with the design and development of a United States Department of Education grant that sought to investigate the use of situation models and scaffolding on student achievement in middle school mathematics.
